FAQ
Will my insurance cover therapy?
We participate with numerous insurance plans, however, we recommend that you contact your insurance provider in advance of your first visit to confirm coverage. It is important that you understand your insurance benefits as they relate to physical therapy. Your insurance may have provisions within the policy that include visit limits, monetary maximums, preauthorization and precertification requirements. Your provider may also group physical therapy with other treatment options, such as chiropractic or speech therapy, which may reduce your allowance of visits. Durable medical equipment, such as braces or splints, may also require precertification from your insurance that is separate from physical therapy.
I don't have insurance. Can I still get therapy?
Yes. You will be considered "self-pay" and will be expected to provide payment at the time of your appointment. Review our self-pay and financial policies.
What do I need to know about my first visit?
- Please arrive 15 minutes early to complete necessary paperwork
- Wear something you can move in comfortably that will allow the affected body part to be exposed (no skirts, please) as well as athletic shoes. Locker rooms and showers are available.
- During your first visit, your therapist will take you through an initial evaluation. Following the evaluation, your therapist will provide you with a treatment plan that will include the recommended number of visits.
