Sports Medicine

The Cardinal Orthopaedic Institute's Sports Medicine team includes a roster of expert orthopaedic surgeons, imaging specialists, physical therapists and athletic trainers - all specializing in the unique needs of athletes.

In fact, many of our physicians are fellowship-trained in sports medicine, arthroscopy and other related specialties, and perform sports medicine procedures ranging from the common to the complex, including ACL reconstruction, platelet-rich plasma therapy, and hip and shoulder arthroscopy.

Our physicians and therapists have worked with and played for some of the best professional and collegiate teams in the nation, and believe every athlete deserves this same level of access and care, from the weekend warrior to the collegiate All-American to the Little League softball player.

Our sports medicine physicians are some of the most respected surgeons in the country with experience performing the latest and most promising procedures such as platelet-rich plasma therapy, hip and shoulder arthroscopy and extracorporeal shock wave therapy, and conducting groundbreaking research in areas such as patella dislocation.
