Michael Malfatto, PA-C

Michael Malfatto works directly with Dr. Derek Snook in all aspects of his orthopaedic practice. He received his bachelor's degree from The Ohio State University before receiving his master's degree in Physician Assistant sciences from Western Michigan University. He is a board-certified Physician Assistant licensed by the State Medical Board of Ohio.

Michael began his career working as a P.A. in emergency medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, and then in Naples, Fla. His responsibilities as an Emergency Medicine P.A. included providing acute care for patients with cardiac, pulmonary, orthopedic, trauma and infectious-related illnesses.

Prior to joining The Cardinal Orthopaedic Institute, Michael worked as a P.A. in the oncology service line at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center. Under Dr. Snook, Michael assists in spinal surgeries and addresses post-operative care with patients.

A long time Columbus native, Michael currently resides in Dublin, Ohio. In his free time, Michael enjoys traveling, competitive sports and cheering on OSU football.
