Jan Augenstein, PA-C
The most exciting thing for me is seeing patients come back to the office after a procedure. You can tell you really made a difference in their lives by relieving the pain and by allowing them to return to their lives.

Jan works alongside several Cardinal physicians, mainly assisting them in the operating room and occasionally supporting them with patient office visits. Jan also evaluates patients in the hospital following surgery. She holds a bachelor's degree in health and physical education from The Ohio State University; a master's degree in education from Miami University; and an associate's degree in the physician assistant program at Kettering College of Medical Arts. Prior to becoming a physician assistant, Jan taught health & physical education and coached several sports at Wilmington High School for 5 years. Jan has been a physician assistant for 24 years now, 21 of which have been in orthopaedic surgery with Cardinal Orthopaedic Institute physicians. She is a board-certified Physician Assistant licensed by the State Medical Board of Ohio. Jan's outside interests include cycling & hiking. |
